Alexandra Dariescu was born in Romania and she studied at the University of  Iasi. She graduated in 2008 from the Royal Northern College of Music with the highest distinction the College offers, the Gold Medal. Also graduated with a Master of Performance degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Awarded the GSMD Piano Fellowship for 2010/2011. Laureate at the Verbier Festival Academy in Switzerland, where she won the Verbier CUBS prize. Won the Guildhall Wigmore  Prize and the Romanian Ambassador`s award for her outstanding contribution to promoting Romania`s image in the UK.

                       - Shostakovitch ( 12 Preludes op.34 )

                       - Chopin ( 24 Preludes op. 28 )

The 250th Anniversary of The Holy Trinity Guildford

       Sunday, 22 September 2013, Alex has participated at the Celebration Service of the 250th Anniversary of the reconstruction of the Holy Trinity, "The Church of the Heart of Guildford" (1763 - 2013).
       On this occasion, Alex has offered as a present his painting titled "PASSION FLOWER" and, of course, a tiny Romanian Three-coloured Flag.
       Both the gift and the speech were received with warmth by the large audience.
